We are again back to running from two servers. The new mirror address is: http://strands-of-moonlight.6te.net. My3gb suffered two outages that we are aware of, both taking place over weekends, with that host not addressing the problem until Monday. At least it posed little serious problem, as we have been occupied with a move and getting our son into a new school, which has taken precedence over writing.

Corporate greed has struck again. Freehostingcloud, despite their name, has abandoned their free hosting service. Their fee didn't seem unreasonable for an annual charge, but even though they had never said so, the fee proved to be monthly. For a non-commercial site, that adds up to a ridiculous amount of money. Accordingly, we have given up on them. For the time being, we will operate on just the My3gb host. If you have our site bookmarked, please update your links.

Service has been restored by Freehostingcloud, so both sites are now accessible.
December 17, 2012
We have returned to operating a mirror site after a major crash of Freehostingcloud (http://strands-of-moonlight.my3gb.com). When service at Freehostingcloud is restored, we intend to continue operating from two hosts as a precaution.

It is now clear that Free0host is gone for good. As a result, "Strands of Moonlight" is now operating on just a single host.  We've had no problems with the current host, Freehostingcloud, so access should be reliable. Please delete any links to the Free0host URL.
May 30, 2010
In response to occasional outages with Free0host, a mirror site has been established for "Strands of Moonlight" at Freehostingcloud. Between the two sites, reader access should be assured.
September 18, 2009
"Strands of Moonlight" moves to its new home at Free0host. Yahoo has decided to eliminate the Geocities brand and its free web-hosting services. The old site will continue with a notice of the new URL until Yahoo turns it off sometime in October.

The Yarnspinner and Hopeless Romantic are proud to announce the birth of their son. Both mother and son are doing fine.

December 28, 2002
Hopeless Romantic has officially announced her retirement from writing Sailor Moon fanfiction, but has found a new writing interest in "Inu-Yasha: A feudal fairy tale." The first chapter of her newest story has just been posted.

October 5, 2002
The Yarnspinner has removed the last of his stories from FanFiction.Net and submitted notice to cancel his account.  Hopeless Romantic has likewise removed her stories, but will be keeping her Author account for the benefit of our readers there who might still be searching for her stories.  This move is in response to FFN's new policy of refusing to accept NC-17 stories.  We are opposed to such censorship and intolerance.  It is not the obligation of websites such as ours to maintain an environment that fits somebody else's idea of "political correctness".  Promote responsible surfing, not censorship.

June 22, 2001
Hopeless Romantic will be taking a break from writing Sailor Moon stories for the time-being. Creativity has struck, and she is working on a novel of her own. We thank all our fans for their support, and will post more information as things develop.

Sunday, February 11, 2001

Hopeless Romantic today celebrates her 25th birthday. Her other half treated her to a romantic weekend getaway in Frankenmuth, Michigan's "Little Bavaria". Suffice to say the "Do Not Disturb" sign was posted.

On Friday, August 25, 2000, the Yarnspinner and Hopeless Romantic exchanged vows of marriage in a private ceremony.

We extend a special thanks to "A Sailor Moon Romance", which started it all for us.
